Our Story
The story of Mousiki paleta (music pallet) started one night after a rehearsal. We were chatting about how our desired rehearsal studio should be. And it hit us... We should make it ourselves.
And the melody of creation begins
While setting up the studio we had two things in mind. Firstly, for the sound equipment to be so good that it simulated a live show. And secondly, we wished to have all the equipment we had been dreaming of to play with at a live.
Then comes human needs
Do you struggle with anxiety, depression or in general you seem to be in bad mood all the time? Well, we have some amazing breathing exercises... Oh, wait, scratch that wrong site... Do you struggle with your music production or you can't understand how to set up your sound? You don't know how all these weird sound settings work? Do you need a PA for that gig on Saturday? Well, people in Mousiki paleta are here to help you.
🎶The house of the rising sun 🎶
The underground '80s, the little bit more up (beat) '90s, and now in 2023 we have climbed all the way up to the second floor (plus the mezzanine). "Could you squeeze in? I need more space..." Well, we don't want to hear that! Bring everyone you know!!!! Ladies, gentlemen, and anyone else you and your equipment fit in very comfortably because our two rooms are 35 and 40 m² each. We, also, have a lounge area for chilling after the rehearsal, or before, we don't mind.
Housework can't kill you but why take a chance....
Trust us, we didn't take a single one... You could call us clean freaks!!!
Climate change, and our name
We all need to make a change to save the earth, and that's what we did... And because transistors and tubes are mandatory, we decided to do something about walls and furniture. And that's how our name came up... Mousiki paleta means Music pallet. We chose this name because quite literally our studio is made out of pallets that were of no use to anyone. One man's trash is another man's treasure, or woman's. And we really mean it .... Walls, floors, ceilings, reception, everything but guitars were made out of pallet. We searched like crazy and collected 300 pallets. Well, we did buy some but only second hand. Now, throw some music in the mix and that's our name.
